Why I created ICONIC.
For seven years, I lived inside a quiet, consuming darkness.
Depression had slowly dimmed my confidence, my voice, my sense of self. I was showing up for life on the outside, while searching desperately, privately for a way back to me.
Then one summer afternoon, my younger daughter looked at me and asked:
“Momma, why have I not seen you with a camera in years?”
And in that moment… something shifted.
I chose to rise.
What followed was not simply a return to photography. It was a return to myself. Through the women I have had the honor of photographing over the years- leaders, mothers, visionaries, healers , I found light again. And in reflecting their strength back to them, I rediscovered my own.
This is no longer just photography.
This is my calling.
To create a sacred space where women feel fully seen, deeply honored, and celebrated for the woman they have become.

When I turned 50, I decided to give myself a gift. I had watched Rachna photograph friends and was struck by the grace she brings to every part of her work. From our very first consultation, I knew I was in the right hands.
Rachna walked me through the entire process with care and clarity. Nothing felt rushed or generic. By shoot day, I felt genuinely prepared and excited. I was welcomed into her studio with warmth by both Rachna and Bianca, her hair and makeup artist. Together, they created something unexpected- a space where I finally felt fully seen.
Five looks. A charcuterie board, champagne, and my favorite music! It felt less like a photoshoot and more like an afternoon with people who genuinely saw me. I didn't have to think or manage anything. I simply got to receive.

With a background in both hospitality and portrait photography, I create a warm, welcoming space where you can feel at ease and truly seen. My studio is designed to celebrate and empower women, especially those who once believed they “weren’t photogenic” or had stepped away from the camera.
I guide you gently through every step, without pressure or judgment, so your portraits feel honest, effortless, and deeply reflective of your story. My intention is to help you see yourself with the same strength, beauty, and light that the world already sees in you.
